Maya Goddess
The sculpture we created embodies the energy of Gaia, representing her as the nurturing, life-giving force of the Earth. Gaia’s energy is one of deep connection, growth, and transformation. She is the mother of all life, channeling the vitality of the Earth, the balance between creation and decay, and the interwoven rhythms of nature. Through this piece, we capture her strength, fertility, and the harmonious cycles that sustain the world—showing both the raw power and gentle nurturing qualities of the Earth itself.
Mystical Metal Tree
The sculpture we created is a modern interpretation of nature, taking the form of a minimalist metal tree. Its sleek, simplistic design reflects the raw essence of Gaia’s energy—focusing on the elegant, unadorned beauty of nature’s structure. The metal tree embodies both strength and flexibility, with clean lines that evoke the quiet power and interconnectedness of the natural world. By using metal in a simplified form, the sculpture represents nature in its purest, most elemental state, a tribute to Gaia's enduring influence and the balance of life.

For this metal sculpture, I carefully bent and welded various pieces of metal to create a dynamic, intricate structure. Each bend and weld was meticulously planned to ensure a strong, cohesive design. I also hand-poured the plastic leaves and flowers, adding delicate, organic elements to the piece, which contrasted beautifully with the industrial feel of the metal. On the goddess sculpture, I took a different approach by carving the wood grain to enhance the natural textures of the wood, making the piece feel alive and tactile. Additionally, I did detailed painting across the entire sculpture, adding depth and color to bring out the nuances of the carving and to give the sculpture a vibrant, finished look. Each piece represents a blend of craftsmanship and artistic vision.
